Kicking off a new video series for 2018, the Tim McAmis Performance Parts Fabrication Series will go into extreme detail to show you all of the tools, materials, welding and techniques used in modern tube chassis race car construction.

If you’re fitting a lot of tubes, don’t be surprised if you run into a gap or two eventually. This video explores some techniques that can be used to achieve a quality weld when dealing with a less than optimal fit.

In the next episode, we will cover how to weld 4130 plate and sheet metal.
