Composite Series: 05 – Composite Body Repair

Kicking off a new video series for 2018, the Tim McAmis Performance Parts Composite Series will go into detail about carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar and how composites are used in the racing industry.

Episode 5 in our Composite Series explores the process behind repairing a fiberglass or carbon fiber body panel or component. This method can be used to make quick repairs at the racetrack or in the shop between races.

Next episode we will examine the process of repairing small holes and cracks in a composite body such as a worn dzus fastener hole.
